Richard Kitamura Baseball Tournament

The annual Richard Kitamura Baseball Tournament hosted by Mid-Pacific Institute is underway.

Wednesday Opening Round Bracket A Games include:

Kauai vs. Iolani
Castle vs. Kapolei
Waianae vs. Roosevelt
Moanalua vs. Kamehameha-Kapalama

Thursday Opening Round Bracket B Games include:

Mid-Pacific Institute vs. Waimea
Kalani vs. Maryknoll
Kaiser vs. Aiea
Mililani vs. Saint Louis

Games continue on Friday and Saturday at various school sites and at Central Oahu Regional Park and concludes with the consolation championship (9am), third place game (12pm) and championship game (3pm) being hosted at the MPI Baseball Field on Sunday.

For over 25 years, this tournament has honored the life of Richard Kitamura, a longtime high school baseball coach and athletic director in the public and private school system who spent many years with Mid-Pacific Institute.
